Hello quilting friends!
Today I’m pleased to share a new table runner pattern with you, Starry Way! This
charm pack friendly pattern features dancing stars making their way among mini
log cabins, both of which are so easy to construct.
Starry Way would sew up
beautifully with just about any fabric collection you love! I selected a charm
pack of Juniper Berry by Basic Grey for Moda to give my Starry Way runner a
festive holiday feel. At 40” x 20”, this is a terrific size for your table or
buffet.
While I absolutely love this Juniper Berry collection, I can also see Starry Way done up in rich autumn prints or a bright, sunny collection. I’m pretty sure I’ll be making another runner sometime soon!
I need to give a virtual
hug and shout out to Nancy Jolene Quilting in Danube, Minnesota. Nancy applied her free motion quilting artistry
to this runner of mine, making it an absolute gem. Take a close look at all the
little details. I especially love the diagonal cross hatching on the log
cabins! And her swirls and feathers in the white space . . . heavenly!
I also want to thank one
of my favorite Instagram quilty friends, Darlene, for her feedback on this
project. If you’re reading Auntie
Darlene, thank you!
Starry Way is available
as a PDF digital download through my Etsy Store.
Thanks for stopping by
the blog today! I hope you'll break open one of your favorite charm packs and give Starry Way a try. Until next time, get carried away quilting my friends!
