Quilters Candy Box: October's Black & White Box

Hello quilting friends!  I just had the most scrumptious box of quilting goodies arrive on my doorstep.  I don't use the term scrumptious loosely here, because one of the goodies was indeed delicious! I received my first Quilters Candy Box.  What a treat!

The Quilters Candy Box is a monthly subscription box filled with quilting goodies and a yummy dessert.  The October box was themed the "Black and White Box" and includes these terrific items:
  • A junior jelly roll of the Thicket collection by Gingiber for Moda Fabrics
  • Four animal print panels from Gingiber's Thicket line (1 large, 3 small)
  • Gingiber's Thicket quilt pattern
  • A custom notepad designed by Gingiber
  • Black Chinese craft scissors
  • Black and white quilt pattern notecards from the Second Stripe
  • A black and white cookie

Elizabeth and Tracy
, co-founders of the Quilters Candy Box, strive to share their passion for quilting with all of us by curating unique and inspiring boxes we will love. I certainly love mine. The specially marked box came carefully packed, with all of the goodies wrapped in pretty tissue and surrounded by festive crinkle cut paper.

This is my first time seeing the Thicket collection in person. The monochromatic prints are striking, but at the same time the woodland characters are very soft and expressive. It's an interesting mix of nature meets contemporary. I really like this line and look forward to making a project with it!

I also love the lightweight feel and shape of the craft scissors.  The notepad, gift tag and quilt pattern are nice additions to this coordinated box!

And I know you are all dying to hear about the cookie.  I am not sure how these ladies do it, but they've shipped me a cookie that tastes like it was made TODAY!  It is moist, almost cake-like, and y.u.m.m.y.!

By the way, I think the expression on the bear below matches the expression my husband may have when he gets home and realizes there was a yummy cookie in the house . . . and his wife ate the whole darn thing.

For more details and pricing information, zip on over to the Quilters Candy Box website. This would make a great gift for yourself or a quilty friend.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I need to sign off now and make a pot of coffee. I have a cookie to finish.
